About

Kansas City – Eating Disorder Treatment Center

Our Kansas City eating disorder recovery program was established in 2014, expanding our evidence-based eating disorder treatment program to the Midwest. Empathy and compassion are at the core of the work we do. Adults and adolescents work hands-on with our team of experienced therapists, registered dietitians, board-certified physicians and psychiatrists, and other professionals. We approach eating disorder treatment in Kansas City with customized treatment plans designed to fit the unique needs of each individual in our program. Using our empowerment-based treatment model, CAMSA®, we provide innovative care that is centered on cultivating hope and personal well-being.

Intensive Outpatient Program – We have multiple options for eating disorder treatment in Kansas City. Our Intensive Outpatient program is a transitional program that supports individuals stepping down from our Partial Hospitalization Program. Here individuals continue to utilize their structured, individualized treatment plan to practice recovery skills outside of the PHP program, empowering patients to apply the skills they have learned and honed for practical and real-world success.

Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program – This program provides adaptable support that effortlessly fits into your busy lifestyle, granting you access to evidence-based treatments delivered by our committed team of experts—all from the convenience of your home.

Evening Intensive Outpatient Program – Eating disorder recovery doesn’t stick to a 9 to 5 schedule. At our KC EDCare location, we also offer an intensive evening program designed to fit recovery into your busy schedule. Individuals can continue to participate in daily activities, such as work or school, while also developing the skills necessary to maintain long-term recovery success in the evening.
