About

Newport Institute’s programs provide tranquil, home-like environments where young adults can achieve sustainable healing and personal growth. Experience and ongoing data collection have taught us that keeping our groups small and intimate results in dramatically better outcomes and allows clients to build strong peer support.

Trauma and PTSD suffered in childhood and during the teen years can have long-term negative effects in every area of life—from daily functioning to the development of authentic connections with others. That is why Newport Institute offers residential treatment that goes deeper than healing the symptoms of mental health concerns. Our clinically driven and outcomes-based residential treatment programs assess the entire client profile from childhood experiences to the current environment. With this assessment, we identify the root causes for mental health concerns and maladaptive behavior such as substance abuse and build a tailored treatment plan for each individual.
