Pine Grove’s Next Step program includes residential addiction treatment as well as a step down partial hospitalization program for patients based on the clinical decisions of the treatment team. The program offers detox services and treatment for dual diagnosis, trauma, and mood disorders. Lengths of stay are customized for each patient according to the recommendations of Next Step’s treatment team.

Specialty Treatment Tracks

Specially tailored tracks such as, A Few Good Men: Celebrating Men in Recovery, focuses on the issues specific to men in treatment with daily group therapy sessions. The program works to challenge stereotypes that can foster control, dominance and the suppression of emotions, to a more open view of masculinity that allows men to express themselves openly.

Men's Rehab Program Components

Our Next Step Program for men is designed with a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment. It includes addiction and psychological testing, 12-step support groups, and AA Big Book studies. The program offers gender-specific groups, individual and group therapy sessions, and focuses on healthy sexuality and dual diagnosis treatment. Key components also include anger management, trauma groups, family therapy, and the R.E.A.C.H. ropes course. Medication management and relapse prevention counseling are integral, along with continuing care planning and educational lectures. Therapeutic modalities like EMDR, AA/NA/DRA meetings, and nicotine replacement therapy are utilized. Additionally, the program incorporates recreation therapy, nutrition services, spiritual services, and physical wellness activities like yoga and exercise.
